I enjoy playing for the reserves as the players are a great bunch of lads.We have such a great laugh. When we step on that pitch everyone gels and focuses on the challenge at hand. Tonight Holmer Green Reserves travel to Tring to beat the Tring Athletic reserves; last night the Holmer Green firsts were beaten  1 - 3 by Tring Athletic First team.

The big match up is against Paul Batchelor who is an ex-Holmer Green player and best pal Andy Parry who is a new signing for Holmer Green. As I used to play along side both Batch and Paz and still currently playing with Paz, I’m afraid my loyalties lie with Holmer Green and Paz tonight. What happens on the pitch stays on the pitch!

Kick off is at 7.45pm this evening at Tring Athletic’s Ground.

Match Report

Darren Caseman of Tring Athletic FC scored the only goal of the game in the second half after a long ball bounced over the Holmer Green goalkeeper’s head on the edge of his penalty area when there was some confusion between himself and a defender. Darren had the easy job of running the ball into an empty net. Ending the game Tring AFC 1 Holmer Green FC 0.

Ceroc has over 500 moves and yet only being able to dance a few of these moves if all you need to get you through a song.

Ceroc is a social dance, the nights are essentially non-competitive and there is no pressure to reach a certain standard in a specified period of time. In the classes there are plenty of opportunity to mix, regardless of whether you come on your own or with friends as your change partners every 2/3 minutes.

The Beginners Class:

The night starts off with an introduction into ‘Ceroc’ which lasts a maximum of 45 minutes. Four fun moves are linked, to form an eye-catching routine. After three to fours weeks most newcomers feel that they are making real progress. Some beginners moves as follows:

The beginners class is followed by a 15 minute freestyle session in which the lights are dimmed and the DJ plays continuous music. This is where you can practice what you have just learnt. Or alternatively go and relax, visit the bar or grab a ‘Taxi-Dancer’ (see section on Taxi-Dancers).

The Intermediate Class:

The Intermediate Class follows the first freestyle session and lasts about 30 minutes. It is aimed primarily at those who have been coming to ‘Ceroc’ for a few weeks. However, do not think that this is time for you to go home! Whilst this is going on there are a number of other options that you can participate in:

• Watch the intermediate class and pick up hints.
• Practice the Beginners routine with friends/Taxi-Dancers.
• Have a shot a the Intermediate routine, again with friends/Taxi-Dancers.

Final Freestyle:

This is the main freestyle session. It is perfectly acceptable for ladies to ask the men to dance or for newer ‘Cerocers’ to approach the experienced, even the teacher.

taxi Dancers:

Taxi-Dancers are experienced in Ceroc and possibly many other dances that are available at nights to go through the moves with you and provide useful hints so that you will soon be dancing with style and confidence. They are specially selected, very friendly group of regular ‘Ceroc’ dancers who welcome the opportunity to dance with anyone.

Dancing three - four times a week helps me to relax and have fun. Learning how to dance and how to lead is a skill that I have picked up over the 10 months that I have been dancing. As this is a male lead dance it is very important to be a good leader and lead the women where you want them to go. Ready for the next move that you are about to perform.

In turns shocking, hilarious and touching KUNG FU FLID is an ultra violent contemplation on the meaning of life. The film, starring MAT FRASER, FAYE TOZER (Steps, ‘Lady Godiva Back in the Saddle’), FRANK HARPER (‘Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels’ & ‘This IS England’) and HELEN WATKINS also introduced the breathtakingly gorgeous model KITTY LEA and is written & directed by award winning writer and director Xavier Leret. The producer is JONATHAN SOTHCOTT (’Wishbaby’) and the executive Producer is TERRY STONE (’Rise of the Footsoldier’, ‘Doghouse’) The film will be available to download exclusively at Film Lounge - from November.

On Thursday and Saturday I filmed torture and fight scenes with Helen Watkins, Dan Poole, Frank Harper, Andrew, Shawn Birch and Mat Fraser. The torture scene saw me wheel in ‘Andrew’ a disabled man who gets tortured via a glaswegian smile. The other scenes filmed were me knocking Jimmy out with a hook punch to the back of the head. As well as a full blown fight scene that lasts between 2-3 minutes.

Coincidentally whilst travelling to Shepperton Studios in London, I met the lead actor Jan Esparza and the Production Manager Tatiana Karol on the train. Like many people I met on set that day, they were both warm friendly people. I enjoyed working with every single one of them.

I will be working with a team of professional stylists who have had over 15 years experience within the hairdressing industry.
